We target all species during their season in the Bream Bay region, generally catching Snapper, Tarakihi, Kahawai, Kingfish, Maumau (pink and blue), Pig fish, Porae, John Dory, Trevally, Gurnard and Sweep, along with other lesser known species.
Andy, skipper of Bay Fishing Charters has many years experience fishing these waters, and can put you on the spot for the species of your choice, up to 12 different varieties including mammoth kingfish like this one, to prize snapper, and big Tarakihi.
We pride ourselves with our conservation approach and specialise in light tackle techniques for the sport.
