Morning tea can be provided by arrangement. The F.V. OBSERVER is fully compliant with the safety standards of Maritime New Zealand and has a current Safe Ship Management Certificate.

    Fleurs Place a restaurant, cafe and bar right on the waterfront at the old jetty. Our specialty is fresh fish straight from Moeraki Bay fishing boats. The restaurant established on an early whaling station site in 2002 and is built from gathered collectables and demolition materials from all over New Zealand. The owner Fleur Sullivan has made her reputation in Central Otago where she established Olivers restaurant and has received numerous awards for her restaurants and in recognition for her contribution to tourism.

    Moeraki Village Holiday Park is situated above the boat harbour in the picturesque village of Moeraki, North Otago, which means it’s just a 5-minute walk to Fleur’s Restaurant and the Moeraki Tavern. It is also only a 50m walk across the road to the beach and playground. Our 6 self-contained motel units are modern with great sea views and reasonable prices. We also have 3 self-contained tourist flats, 3 standard cabins, a 1-bedroom access unit, a bunkroom that sleeps 8 people, 28 powered sites and 30 non-powered tent sites. There is accommodation to suit all budgets.

    Moeraki Beach Motels is situated in the charming village of Moeraki, with just a short stroll to the boat harbour, beach and playground. Moeraki is a picturesque fishing village waiting to be explored. It was originally a whaling station and also the first choice for the Oamaru Harbour. It has an abundance of history, some of which can be found on plaques along the Millennium Walkway, Whalers Lookout and Moeraki Centenary Park Monuments.
